Rehabilitation Center for Girls

In July 2008 Fazenda da Esperança in Masbate opened a house for girls and women with problems in addiction, offering rehabilitation for up to 20 girls.

The life of the girls is basically the same as at the community of the boys, they also work for their own living, baking cassava cake, guava jam etc, planting vegetables and producing handicrafts.

Some of the women do bring their little children with them, if they could not leave them with somebody of their family.
