During the first years of Fazenda in Masbate, we used to bring our products to the city every other day, selling them on the streets, the public market, in offices, parishes and to our many friends. Even if this was quite a tiresome experience, it helped us very much to make our products popular and find many new friends and costumers. Today, Fazenda products in Masbate are well known for their quality, taste and freshness. Also people know that buying Fazenda products, they support us in our mission.
But in January 2008, a dream finally came true: Through the help of our beloved bishop Joel Baylon, we could open a small store at the cathedral compound in Masbate City! This store does not only serve as the primary outlet for our products, but also as a Fazenda contact point for people from Masbate and visitors from outside of Masbate, who would arrive at the pier or the airport of the city. We also use to hold meetings of the families and graduates of Masbate in the meeting room in the second floor of the store.
The one in charge of the Fazenda store is Artus, the first boy who entered Fazenda Masbate in 2003, and our first graduate. He, his wife and eventually their children are selling in the store, giving a beautiful testimony of hope to everybody.
